Solution-Focused approaches, which build on clients, families, agencies, or community’s strengths, are proving more powerful and hopeful in encouraging change than traditional problem-focused methods of assessment and treatment.
This course will provide a basic introduction to the theoretical foundations and treatment methods of a solution-focused approach and encourage participants to adapt and apply the model in their thinking and their work with challenging clients, colleagues, and agencies.
